As the bed floor is the largest flat surface on a classic truck, it plays an integral role in the quality and appearance of the final build. So whether you are restoring your own classic truck or building a one of a kind show truck, we understand how important the quality and integrity of the bed wood is to you. Although oak is an exceptional wood, it does not fit all builds, and until now, has been practically the only species of bed wood offered in the aftermarket. You need not only the highest quality available, but you need a CHOICE IN SPECIES to compliment your truck. When choosing the furniture or cabinetry for your home, a single species or style doesn't fit all needs. Your classic truck is no different. BED WOOD AND PARTS can meet your need!
BED WOOD AND PARTS, LLC offers you the option to choose from a significant number of beautiful domestic and exotic species, with each having their own distinct appearance, grain pattern, and character. This will allow you to enhance both the appearance and attitude of the final build, and to further personalize your classic truck.

Pre-Sanded Wood
Unlike hand sanding or sanding with an orbital sander, which both leave a series of high and low areas on the wood surface, after machining, our bed wood is both coarse and fine sanded through a drum sander leaving a uniform, perfectly flat, and very smooth surface which is ready to finish. This saves you an incredible amount of time and labor, and assures the quality of your finished wood!
Pre-Drilled Wood
When your Classic Truck was manufactured, it was a utility vehicle and, as you well know, quality control was not an exact science as it is in todays manufacturing environment. Due to this, although it is an option, our bed wood kits are not typically pre-drilled. It is our belief that it is much better to fit your wood to your truck instead of having to fit your truck to the wood as can occur with many pre-drilled kits. Each bed wood set does come with easy to follow installation instructions to assure the best fit in your truck.
Custom Applications or Vehicles Not Listed
If you are looking for a "one off" set of bed wood, there are many creative options available. Also, if you do not see your truck listed (i.e. flat bed, Dodge, International, Studebaker, etc.), or you have a custom application, call and we will provide you with more information and a specific quote.
To assure your satisfaction, both now and in the future, all of our bed wood has been kiln dried in order to minimize moisture content, and improve stability. Our wood kits are machined through a trim mill to exacting dimensions to assure their quality and fit. All pieces are 3/4" thick, grooved, sanded, trimmed to length, and ready to finish.
